Welcome to Qazi, a comprehensive job marketplace platform that connects service seekers with qualified businesses and professionals. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, whether you're posting jobs, bidding on projects, or providing services.
"Platform"
Qazi web application, mobile app, and all related services
"Users"
Individuals or entities using our platform
"Job Posters"
Users who post jobs or tasks seeking services
"Service Providers"
Businesses or individuals who bid on and complete jobs
Qazi provides a marketplace platform that enables:
- Job posting and management by users seeking services
- Business profile creation and verification for service providers
- Bidding system for service providers to compete for jobs
- Secure payment processing and transaction management
- Review and rating system for quality assurance
- Document verification and business accreditation services
- Analytics and reporting tools for business management
Account Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person or entity may maintain only one account
Business Verification
Service providers must complete our verification process, including submission of valid business documents, identification, and relevant certifications. Verification enhances trust and may be required for certain job categories.
Job Posting Guidelines
- Jobs must be legal and comply with local regulations
- Accurate descriptions and fair pricing ranges are required
- Jobs cannot discriminate based on protected characteristics
- Payment terms must be clearly specified
Bidding Process
- Service providers may submit competitive bids for posted jobs
- Bids must include realistic pricing and completion timelines
- Job posters have the right to accept or reject any bid
- Once a bid is accepted, both parties are bound by the agreement
Payment Processing
Qazi facilitates secure payments between job posters and service providers through our integrated payment system. We support mobile money, bank transfers, and card payments.
Platform Fees
- Service fee may apply to completed transactions
- Premium business subscriptions available for enhanced features
- Verification and accreditation services may incur additional fees
- All fees are clearly disclosed before any transaction
Users must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Engage in any form of harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Attempt to circumvent platform security measures
- Use the platform for illegal activities
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Attempt to directly contact users to avoid platform fees
Platform Mediation
Qazi provides dispute resolution services for conflicts between users. Our team will review evidence and work toward fair resolution of payment, service quality, or other platform-related disputes.
Escalation Process
If platform mediation fails, disputes may be escalated to binding arbitration under Kenyan law. Users agree to resolve disputes individually and waive rights to class action proceedings.
Qazi serves as a marketplace platform connecting users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of jobs posted or services provided. Users engage with each other at their own risk. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for platform services, and we are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate security measures to protect your information.
Account Termination
Either party may terminate their account at any time. Qazi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or other justified reasons.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Outstanding transactions and obligations survive termination until fulfilled.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated through email or platform notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
